The screenplay for THE ORIGINAL COPY made it as far as the 2nd Round in the Austin Film Festival competition: the top 20%; what other contests might term "quarterfinals." They actually phone to inform you, which is quite a nice call to get. First dent this one has made, contest-wise. I have a long history with this festival: I've attended twice, I've read scripts for the competition, and in 2009 a feature screenplay I co-wrote won the top prize in the sci-fi category.
